Chewy cereal bars packed with sweet apricots and creamy white chocolate. Nutritious, tasty, and perfect for a quick snack or on-the-go treat.

Ingredients

  • 150 gram Rolled oats

  • 50 gram Rice Bubbles

  • 50 gram Dried apricots-chopped

  • 30 gram LSA -(optional)

  • 100 gram Butter

  • 85 gram Golden syrup

  • 75 gram White chocolate

Directions

  • Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Combine the butter, golden syrup and white chocolate in a saucepan over low heat, mix well.
  • Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and gently combined.
  • Press firmly into a greased or lined slice tin.
  • Refrigerate until set then cut into bars.
  • Alternatively, roll the Apricot and White Chocolate Cereal Bars into bite sized balls and refrigerate.

  • Makes about 16 Bars or 32 balls.
  • LSA is Linseed, Sunflower and Almond Meal and is available from most supermarkets and health food stores.  It is delicious on cereal and in baking.
