The official title (for now, anyway) of world’s oldest mother goes to Omkari Panwar who, in June of 2008, gave birth to a set of twins (a boy and a girl) by emergency Caesarean section.

Despite already having two daughters in their 50s, Omkari and her husband undertook an IVF treatment with an egg donor to ensure they would have a male heir. Sadly, their daughter died when she was four, but their son is a happy healthy boy, and Omkari wants to have as much time with him as she can.
