Another very strange fear, genuphobia is the fear of knees and/or kneeling. Unlike some of the other fears we’ve featured, this is not a common fear, but it can be a very challenging one. Obviously it’s difficult to be terrified of something on your own body. People who suffer with genuphobia will panic when they see bare knees, either in person or in the media, and are often unable to kneel because of their fears.

Ergophobia is a very unique and uncommon phobia that involves an irruption fear of working, going to work, or finding a job. This is a social-anxiety disorder that usually affects people who have had traumatic experiences in the workplace. As a result of that experience, they find it difficult to approach work from the same perspective as others, with the mere thought of working setting off a fear response.
