Certainly one of the stranger fears we encountered in our research, arachibutyrophobia is the fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth. Now it’s important to note that arachibutyrophobia isn’t the fear of peanut butter itself, but rather the specific experience and feeling of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth. So, while arachibutyrophobia can probably look at peanut butter, they are unlikely to eat it as it might set off a massive fear response.
