There’s a lot of misinformation about sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

How can you get it? Can you get it from oral sex? Are my symptoms a sign of an STI?

If you think that you are experiencing the early symptoms of an STI, the only way you can get accurate answers is to get yourself tested. If you’re trying to educate yourself, it wouldn’t hurt to know what, how and where to go just in case. Being knowledgeable will definitely reduce your risk.

HPV (human papillomavirus) and Genital Warts

Chlamydia

Herpes

Crabs

Gonorrhoea

If you experience symptoms, make sure that you consult with your doctor. While some of them may not signal a life-threatening condition, some may pose danger to your health.  If you become concerned about any symptoms please seek immediate medical attention.
