Mark Ruffalo was never really an A-lister in the�limelight until he picked up a role as the Hulk in the new Avengers series. But since he’s been enjoying fame by putting his name to causes that need public attention. One for which he is well known is his 2013 support of reproductive rights, particularly, the right of women to get an abortion. He opened up about his own mother having an illegal abortion in the past, and urged supporters to “stand for abortion rights and the dignity of a woman to be the master of her own life and body”. What a legend.

Daniel Radcliffe has come a long way since the days of Harry Potter, and although some of his movies have been a little strange, we can’t fault his feminist opinions, particularly on the idea of a ‘friend zone’. When the term came up in an interview, Radcliffe was quick to give his opinion about the loaded word:

“Have you ever heard a girl say she’s in the friend zone? It’s a thing I think men need to be really careful about using… I definitely think the idea of friend zone is just men going, ‘This woman won’t have sex with me.’” Truth.
