5. Don’t Press Snooze!

While it can be very tempting to press the snooze button when your alarm goes off, there’s nothing to be gained from it. If you hit snooze, you’re going to end up feeling less rested and being in a worse mood than if you had just gotten up in the first place. So, hard though it might be, don’t hit snooze in the morning. Instead get up, wash your face, and do something for yourself that isn’t sleeping.

6. Get Out Of Bed Straight Away

There’s no point laying around in bed, awake but unmoving. Many people fall into the trap of lying in bed awake, but checking their phone for emails, social media notifications, or general growing. It’s always better to just get straight out of bed, and start your morning routine, whatever that might be. Freshen up, brew some coffee, and get the day�into gear.
