So, make sure you’re carsick cautious by encouraging playing car games instead of reading or using screens, which can make kids feel rotten. Still, just to be safe, always bring a few big bags!
2. Act Sun Smart
If you’re driving long distances, your kids could be in the car for quite a while. In sunny Australia, this means you need to be aware of them getting burnt. Get sunshades for your windows or use a towel jammed in the window if that’s safe.
3. Have Clothes Accessible
In case of spills and messes, always make sure you have an outfit of clothing accessible to you for each child, and for each parent. Take it from us, you don’t want to attempt to unpack your entire car while covered in poop, vomit, or spilled beverages.
