There’s nothing worse than getting to your hotel with your tired family in tow after a day of travelling only to realise this isn’t a kid-friendly spot. To stop this from happening to you, do your research first. Look at reviews, and choose hotels with kids’ entertainment programs, kids’ rooms, and similar.

6. Ask Them To Empty The Minibar

Minibars are a parent’s worst enemy — full of super overpriced treats that your kids will love to eat. So don’t deal with it. Have your hotel empty the minibar prior to your arrival. That way, you’ll have more space for your stuff, and less space for junk food arguments.

Sometimes, you just have one of those days where you cannot fathom getting everybody dressed to go out to dinner. We have been there. That’s where room service comes in. This is one of our favourite ‘holiday hacks’ and definitely one for the parents whose children seem to be always on the move. Dress your kids in lots of bright colours. We mean NEON bright. You can also attach tags to their clothing with your contact details, just in case. But, with the bright outfits, at least you’ll be able to see them!

If you have little ones, here’s how to enjoy a holiday with your kids, next!
