12 Of The World’s Coolest Tree Houses You Can Visit

Ancient-style wooden tree house nestled among lush green trees in a tranquil forest setting.

As a child, I dreamt of having my own tree house.

There were just two tiny, tiny problems. First, my dad did not have the carpentry skills necessary to build a tree house. The other tiny problem? We did not really have a big tree in our backyard. Suffice to say, I had to say goodbye to my dream of owning a tree house.

Now that I’m an adult, I’m still dreaming of having my own tree house! Having Pinterest at the tip of my fingers didn’t help — if anything, it just leaves me drooling all the time. I’m sure these super cool tree houses will leave you feeling the same!
