A mum’s pain-free splinter removal hack has gone viral as people all over the world praise the genius hack.
Claire Bullen-Jones from Wigan, England, has just answered every person’s nightmare when she shared her’pain-free splinter removal hack on Facebook and hundreds of thousands of people are going crazy over it. Ms’Bullen-Jones said that all you need is a syringe…well a needleless one that is.
“Kids got a splinter? Grab the calpol box (like Nurofen) and take out the syringe that comes with it! Make sure it’s clean obviously!” she wrote. She added that there must be a ‘bit of a gap before you start’. “Put the small hole at the bottom of the syringe as best you can over the splinter. Once you know your above it, make sure the syringe is touching the skin-and pull! Make sure there are no gaps otherwise you won’t get it!,” she explained. She also advised pulling immediately. “Don’t pull slowly! You need to pull rather quickly! If it’s a stubborn splinter, just do this a couple of times! Saves so much time, and well worth seeing the kids smile at the end of it rather than red faces and tears!” she wrote. She said that her husband, Chris came up with the idea years ago and said that they’ve been using the handy hack since. While Ms Bullen-Jones specifically mentioned a Calpol syringe, the procedure can be done with any regular, needle-less syringe. Her post has now been shared more than 85,000 times with over 26,000 reactions. Sources: – News.com.au – and – Au.news.yahoo.com
