Personally, I LOVE this homemade Febreeze, it smells amazing. I’m not sure why the perfume companies haven’t bought out adeodorantor body spray that smells just like it. This doesn’t smell exactly like Febreeze, but it works just as good (if not better) than the real thing and for the price of one bottle of Febreeze, you could use this stuff for a whole year. Why not give it a go!
- 30ml of yourfavouritesmelling fabric softener (not made up)
- 2 tablespoons of bicarbonate of soda
- enough water to fill a spray bottle
- A spray bottle
All all the ingredients to a spray bottle and shake well. Label accordingly and use it to kill odours around the home and on fabrics etc.

Response to “Homemade Febreeze”
Thanks for this. We picked up a second hand couch and brought it home, only to ‘discover’ that the original owners had cats that had ‘marked their territory’. Now they smell nice and clean and my husband decided we needed to do all the furniture in the house with it he loved it that much 🙂
