Brow pencils are fabulous because they can be used to gently colour in any sparse patches in your eyebrows and this gives your eyes definition. Plus, if you keep it in your bag, and need to go somewhere special, it seconds as a soft eyeliner or can even be smudged on your upper eyelids to give your eyes a smokey look.

Scarves can make jeans and a t-shirt look refined and dressed up (perfect if you have a stain or two on your shirt from dirty baby hands). They can keep light showers at bay by wearing it on your head to protect you from the rain (or sun). A scarf can keep you warm if it gets cool, a perfect picnic blanket for a day at the park.
