Homemade Pre-Wash Stain Remover

Homemade Pre-Wash Stain Remover | Stay at Home Mum

The stain remover sprays you buy in the supermarket are expensive – here is a homemade version that won’t cost the earth – and will work just as well (if not BETTER!!!!).

  • 1 cup cloudy ammonia
  • 2 teaspoons eucalyptus oil
  • 1 cup shampoo
  • 1 cup water

Combine all the ingredients and place in a labelled spray bottle. Spray stains, collars and marks just before placing in the washing machine.

This works better than the shop bought stain removers!!!!

Another terrific pre-wash stain remover is Sunlight soap. Keep a bar or two in your laundry. When you see a stain, gently wet the soap and rub it directly onto the stain and wash.
