3. Washing their clothes
Washing machines are complicated appliances these days. All the nobs, turns, twists, buttons and wash cycles. It is hard for adults most of the time. However, once you learn one modern washing machine, you can pretty much figure them all out. And a bonus would be teaching them colour separation and stain removal (maybe too much on the first lesson). Let’s face it, if they can operate an iPhone, they can operate a washing machine.
4. How to do a food shop
Kids need to know how to shop without spending all their money. I remember when I shopped, I took a list and a calculator. It kept me right on budget. Kids today can either go with their iPhones (I’m sure there is an app to keep on budget) or shop online.
