Nothing can stop this breastfeeding mother to pump breast milk — not even in the middle ofa half marathon.

Anna Young, fromSalt Lake City in the US, had decided she wouldruna half-marathon before she even knew she was pregnant, even if the big event was to take place when her first babywas five months old.

On the day of the marathon, Ms Young was faced with a dilemma. She needed to leave her house at 4.30am and wouldn’t be able to feed again for hours. So she came up with a plan — she would pump milk during the race. Indeed, she pumped after running the first 8 miles (which is almost 13 km) and nursed her daughter after she made it to the finish line.

The 27-year-old mother posteda photo of herself on the Facebook page ofOccupy Breastfeeding. Ms Young said that her motivation came from the group and the La Leche League to do both things at the same time — run and breastfeed. “This group and La Leche league motivated me to find a way to run my race and take care of my daughter.#normalizebreastfeeding,” she wrote along with the photo.

The photo has now gained more than 11,000 reactions and over 1,900 shares.
