If there are things that can be better done by others or things that are not so important, consider delegating. This takes a load off and you can focus on the important tasks. A husband is always a great person to delegate chores to.

13. Make time for yourself

Having a routine that is all yours is also beneficial, especially if you want to keep hold of your sanity! My routine involves simply cleansing, toning and moisturising my face every morning and every night. It’s small, but significant!

14. Sleep

Getting enough sleep is crucial and can really affect your mood. You will find it very difficult to get motivated to stick to a household routine if you are tired, so rest up as much as you can.

15. Put your feet up

At the end of everyday, make sure you give yourself time more than five minutes “� to put your feet up and rest, read a book or just watch television.
