6. Breakfast Routine

Breakfast time can be a bit of a scramble, especially if you’re running late. Set a routine that works for every family member and stick to it “� eventually, it will become second nature. It’s also a good idea to try and organise this time to suit everyone and ensure you all eat together. This way, you can ensure everyone gets fed and all dishes can be packed away, leaving a tidy kitchen.

7. Fill the sink with warm soapy water

Before sitting down to eat your breakfast, fill the sink with warm soapy water and encourage every family member to wash their dishes as soon as they are finished. EASY!

8. Lunch boxes

Find a lunch box container that has compartments for fruit, sandwiches, vegetables and protein. This way, you can ensure your family are receiving all the nutrients they need for the day, and you don’t have to worry about them getting hungry!

9. Bedding

Nobody has time to tuck, fold and press the bedding everyday, and if you do, I salute you! Don’t be scared to simply pull the duvet up, fluff the pillows and leave the room. It’s a good habit and it’s simple.

10. Hour of power

This is an hour where you just go full steam into your night-time routine with the children, from dinner, bath, stories and bed. I chose 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm as the hour of power and it works a treat!
