Heartfelt Homemade
A gift made with love is always a fantastic way to say thanks. Line a box or jar with tissue or baking paper and fill with a few homemade treats, add another layer of paper and pop the lid on. Decorate the gift box or jar with string, ribbon, flowers and a hand-made gift tag.
Get Crafty
Why not create Mum a personalised charm necklace? You can use charms from earrings or other broken jewelry and include something special to mum like a birthstone or favorite charm. This is a great way to breathe new life into old favorites too far gone to be worn any other way. You’ll need a length of chain, some jump rings and a pair of jewelry pliers. You might even find hubby has a cute pair of pliers in his tool box that would do the trick, otherwise you’d find these items at your local Spotlight. Simply arrange the charms to your liking on a jump ring, using other jump rings to connect individual pieces and thread onto the chain.
