Adorable Little Girl Gets the Fright of Her Life After Seeing Own Shadow

Seeing things straight is downright impossible if you’re in dire need of a nap. And parents know a lot about this from experience.

But apparently, even toddlers go through the same thing.

Facebook user Mike Jacobs recently uploaded a video of her daughter going through just that.

Everything was going through quite pleasantly for this adorable little toddler, who was just minutes away from getting into a nap.

But things go wrong and she gets the fright of her life when — alas! — she got a glimpse of her own shadow.

The baby tries to make a run for it and lets out a big scream but fails. She realises she’s still being followed which unfortunately causes her to tumble back on the road.

The funny video has gone viral and, just three days after posting it online, has racked up more than 24 million views.

PS. There is actually such a thing as a fear of shadows. Called Sciophobia, adults could sometimes go through dread and anxiety because of such phobias. Some people could even get scared into silence.

Hope your Tuesday goes well!
