20 Gorgeous Wedding Gowns From The Movies and TV Shows

I’ve seen a lot of girls’ night movies with very memorable weddings, but admit it, we’re all looking at the wedding dress.

Since we love weddings and TV and movies, we decided to create the most fabulous mash-up ever: here are 20 gorgeous wedding gowns from the movies and TV shows!

1. Carrie Bradshaw’s dress from Sex and the City (2008)

One of the most heartbreaking scenes from Sex and the City was when Mr Big stood Carrie Bradshaw up…in a supposedly dream wedding. But it was also one of the most beautiful and picturesque scenes, thanks to Vivienne Westwood’s wedding dress. Fans fought over the wedding dress and it sold just a few hours after it was sold online.

2. Victoria’s dress in The Young Victoria (2009)

Costumes in period films are enchanting. Victoria’s corseted, silk satin wedding dress with the antique lace details is too pretty that you just don’t want to look away from it. Designer Sandy Powell stayed true to the original design found at Kensington Palace.

3. Bella Swan’s dress in Twilight: Breaking Dawn (2011)

Bella’s wedding dress is simple yet elegant. Carolina Herrera did a beautiful job with the lace details on the back.

4. Annie Banks’ dress in Father of the Bride (1991)

Elegant wedding dress inspired by popular movies and TV shows.

Designer Susan Becker wanted to bring out the all-American girl, so she toned it down and designed a demure dress with rose- patterned lace. The best part about this wedding dress? We’re not sure you noticed, but it was the wedding sneakers customized for the wedding.

5. Maria Rainer’s dress in The Sound of Music (1965)

Gorgeous white wedding dress with a long veil, perfect for bridal fashion enthusiasts.

Fraulein Maria’s wedding dress may be far from being glittery, but it is the most gorgeous a dress could ever be. It is made from ivory silk matched with a full veil. The empire cut gives the dress a modest yet elegant feel to it.
