A mummy blogger who has triplets has slammed some of her ‘concerned’ online followers who suggested that her babies should already be walking independently.

Farron Sullivan, 28, from Queensland, who also runs an Instagram page with over 200,000 followers, has posted a response to the increasing number of followers who ask her why the two boys of her 16-month-old triplets — Harlen and Brodie — have not yet learned to walk. The third of her babies is a girl she named Zadie.

“To all the people that keep asking me whether I am concerned about the boys not walking yet… or that I should be concerned.. The answer is no. They RUN with their walkers and are standing unaided,” she wrote.

Farron explained that Harlen had a “massive set back with his surgeries this year” which “affected his balance for a while,” while Brodie is “not as physically strong as the others and has taken longer to reach his milestones which have still been within normal limits.”

“Even if they aren’t…. so what?” she added.

Farron then left a message to people to understand that each child is unique.

“Instead of telling parents to worry and be concerned, be supportive. Each child is different so please do not compare to anyone else. PLUS I am in NO rush to have all three running around,” she concluded.

Farron told Daily Mail Australia that children reach milestones at their own pace. “Even though the trio are exactly the same age, I don’t compare them. They have three completely different personalities and each are one of a kind,” she said. “All three are apparently saying more words than expected for their age and I have no concerns regarding their milestones for walking.”
