A mum hasdecided to teach Beyonce-themed dance classes to new mums — with their babies strapped to their chests.

MumLiz Cahalan, 35, from Melbourne, runs the Bey Dance studio in Brunswick, that offers dance classes to all — from those who never experienced dancing to really skilled performers.

Shestarted teaching Beyonce dance classes when the iconic video for Single Ladies came out in 2014, and began teaching choreography through some of Beyonce’s music videos, from her Destiny’s Child days to her solo career.

However, when Ms Cahalan became a mother with herdaughter, Rose, she decided to start dance classes specifically for mothers.

“I had to go back to teaching pretty quickly after having her, so I was teaching with her strapped on to me. And I discovered alot of other people want to dance with their babies so I started Beyby classes,”shetold Daily Mail Australia.

Since then, a lot of mums started enroling to her dance classes willing to shake their booty to Beyonce’s hits and have fun dancingafter giving birth.

Althoughthe moves are all still based on Beyonce’s choreography, it’s simplified especially for the baby classes to accommodate the capability of new mums. “There’s a lot of simple arm and leg movements. But it also reminds you of how strong your body is and how capable you are,” she said, adding that men and fathers can join in, too.
